DRS PRORADAR X5 is powered by a smart high-energy battery that offers much more power to the device. X5 allows you to detect buried objects and structures deep into the ground down to 50 meters. We include our best magnetometer antenna: the 100cm antenna. We also add a second 30cm gradiometer antenna with 4 smart-sensors. Adding an antenna with a higher number of sensor enhances resolution and performance as the quality of the antenna greatly influences the overall result you get from your scan. DRS ProRadar X5 like all our radars is controlled by a tablet PC that includes a multilingual 3D software developed by our engineers that offers a detailed analysis of the scanned area. You can start/stop your scan and access menu navigation with our joystick. Just enter the dimension of the area you want to scan and start analyzing what’s below your feet! If you choose gradiometer antenna, You can scan automatically or manually (you add the number of rows and their lengths) and may also choose between parallel or zig-zag area scans. This is set up on the control box. The results appear on the tablet PC, you can then determine which king of target you encounter whether it’s a cavity or metal. You can even see if it’s iron or not.
You may also save scans in the memory and later transfer them to your computer. We have developed our own 3D software, however you can use 3rd party software such as Voxler ones. X5 also offers a horizontal and vertical live scan feature for real time results and better pinpointing. It’s backed by a 2 year warranty and comes in 5 languages including German, English, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic.
Regarding the metal detector function, X5 features Ground Exper PRO technology that is the first metal detector being able to show you the shape of the object below your feet. Ground balance is adjusted automatically in 4 seconds regardless of the mineralization of the soil. Once tuned, software will automatically adjust to mineralization level. Therefore even treasure hunters that have never tested a professional detector can easily use Ground Exper PRO. It comes with 3 coils (27 ,48cm and 100cm). It’s also controlled by the tablet PC. It also combines resistivity measurement to analyze what’s in the ground. This resistivity feature is a miniaturized version of our Advanced Resistivity Scanner that can also be purchased separately.
